Frequently Asked Questions
Clear answers for suppliers
Is the focus only Mexico?
Yes. This site is focused on helping international suppliers understand how IMX can support product entry, commercial channels, fulfillment and logistics within the Mexican market.
Which products can be evaluated?
IMX can review products based on category, demand potential, import feasibility, inventory requirements and commercial fit. The request form helps collect the first details needed for an initial evaluation.
Which sales channels can be used?
The route may include IMX ecommerce, marketplaces, direct sales or a combined commercial route, depending on the product category, inventory strategy and business opportunity.
Does submitting a request guarantee approval?
No. Submitting a request starts a review process. IMX evaluates whether the product fits the Mexican market, the available commercial channels, and the company’s operating strategy.
Are storage, fulfillment, and delivery available for every request?
No. These options are evaluated case by case based on the product, inventory volume, handling needs, destination areas, available capacity, and the selected commercial route.
Do suppliers need local operations in Mexico?
No. One of the goals of working with IMX is to help suppliers explore and operate in Mexico without needing to establish local operations from day one.
